Attended a great photo conference, the Flash Bus Tour, with veteran photographers David Hobby (the Strobist) and Joe McNally (Numnuts(?!).

David showed manual off-camera flash, and as the Strobist, has set the standard for this area. McNally showed the TTL version of that, and was demoing it live as shown in this shot (he's on the far-left). The guys were very cool, laid back and brilliant photographers.
