Those not native to snowy weather, may be surprised that the transition from winter to spring can get ugly. EVERYTHING appears very dirty, and the average garage has a layer of salt, dirt and sand that beckons for that first warm spring day when we can sweep it all out.

The above shot is typical road-side melting snow. On some streets it doesn't even look like snow at all, but dirt dunes. When they melt they reveal garbage, parts of cars from fender benders and other oddities left from 3-months of snow cover. Soon though, the warm weather and rains come to clean it all up. Rinse, repeat.
