Tonight I had the privilege to photograph one of the most anticipated shows in Madison for 2011: Wisconsin native, Bon Iver. When tickets went on sale for this show back in October, they sold out the 2000+ Orpheum Theatre in a just a couple hours. The show did not disappoint--the music was amazing and the crowd entranced. Justin Vernon, (Chris Pratt of Parks and Rec look-alike in my book) really knows how to command an audience as he did in Re: Stacks. You can check the whole setlist here.

It was tough for me to pick just one picture from tonight's show as I had a few I liked, but ended up using this one that I shot during the encore from the middle of the crowd. I also ran into a former UW Band member and college friend I hadn't seen in 15 years.... and surprisingly, she ended up being Justin's sister!
