Three months ago today, I photographed 'winter tree'. The oak hasn't changed much, but buds are starting to finally form after the cool spring we've had.

I went the surrealist route with this shot. It is an HDR image, combining 3 bracketed exposures, 2-stops apart (handheld, but I would recommend a tripod). I used only Photoshop to combine this one, but also highly recommend Photomatix which I used for many of my Ireland pictures. Fun to do some HDR again.
